The four of Oppression
Deeply ingrained cultural ideals and beliefs that frequently disregard the comeon sence are the root of ideological tyranny . These concepts, such as the notion that boys and girls should behave and look a specific way, ( how society wanted them to be or how they were seen) These concepts, such as the notion that boys and girls should behave and look a specific way, which to me seems silly because just because you act one way or dress another That doesn't make you less,Furthermore, despite the fact that gender is not determined by color, there is a misperception in society that blue is connected to boys and pink with girls.
Ideological, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized are the four l's of oppression. Each one stands for a distinct stage at which tyranny takes place and has an impact on people and societies. The big concepts that uphold and justify unequal treatment of different groups is what is meant by ideological oppression.. These ideas shape the way people think about others and justify injustice. Institutional oppression occurs within organizations such schools.and the government or society
For example, I suffered oppression as ,someone who identifies in LGBTQ+ community I can understand the fear of a person in the community that unfortunately grew up in a homophobic environment Because they think that what they are doing is wrong or that they are a mistake. I lived these situations and personally it is not a pleasant thing to feel that one has to hide what one is Simply because society does not understand.
